South Africa proved once again a number one test team while
they crushed the visitor in third match by a huge margin an inning and 18 runs
and clinched the three test match series with a clean sweep 3-0. A Fantastic bowling
performance by debutant Kyle Abbott take nine wickets in a match followed by
Dale Steyn he destroy Pakistan batting in second inning.
Pakistan batting struggle in all the series, Pakistan were
bowled out for 235 in their second innings, an improvement on their first
innings total of 156. Pakistan lower order showed some resistance and Dale Steyn
was frustrated in a final spell of eight overs after tea as the last pair,
Rahat Ali and Mohammad Irfan, played and missed or edged the ball out of reach
of the fielders. Pakistan's hopes of avoiding an innings defeat crumbled as three
more wickets fell in quick succession.
It completed a most miserable series for Pakistan, whose
batting has consistently struggle on the testing surfaces in South Africa. In
this match, no batsman made a half-century, and in the series no batsman aggregated
200 runs. Not only have the results been magnificent for South Africa, they
have been achieved through an eye-catching brand of cricket that combines
aggression, grace and efficiency. Kyle Abbott called man of the match for his
