Clarke smash a fighting hundred against India at Chennai.


Australia skipper Michael Clarke hit a fighting hundred against India in first test match at Chennai. Clarke continuous his outstanding form in test, struck a brilliant century and remain unbeaten on 103 runs as Australia ended the day at 316 for seven in the first innings. The partnership of 151 runs between Moises Henriques and Michael Clarke helped Australia put the inning back on track, after Australia slumped from 126 for two to 153 for five.






After winning the toss and chose to bat first Australia gets a good start for their opening batsman David Warner (59), and Ed Cowan (29) Cowan departed in his attempt to charge down the ground and was stumped by Mahendra Singh Dhoni off Ashwin, R. Ashwin showing a brilliant spell at Chennai take all first six wicket and puts India on a good position. Ashwin star for India on first day swing the bowl beautifully and put’s pressure on opposition.

Australia lost five wickets at the score of 153 and struggle to get runs but skipper Michael Clarke played a fantastic strokes in the middle of the inning, struck a fighting ton and put Australia back on track, It was a great innings by Clarke, who walked in at 126 for three, and was involved in a crucial 151-run partnership for the sixth wicket with debutant Moises Henriques. Moises Henriques played a fine strokes and smash a brilliant 68 runs, the partnership between Clarke and Moises Henriques is going heart India, Australia finish the day with 316/7 a good score on the board as compare first day play.
