South Africa take the series with four wickets win in 2nd Test Match



South Africa clinched series with four wickets win in 2nd test against Pakistan at Newlands, Cape Town and lead in the three test match series by 2-0. The victory in the 2nd test match helped South Africa to tighten their gripped in world number 1 spot in test ranked.




Pakistan were bowled out at for 169 runs after starting a day on a relatively comfortable 100/3. The host lost six wickets in just 22 runs on either side of the lunch. The visiter manage to set a 182 runs target in fourth day. South Africa gets target after losing six wickets with fantastic batting by Hashim Amla and Ab De Villiers contributing 58 and 36 runs respectively.

Saeed Ajmal shows brilliant bowling claimed six wickets in first innings, finished his spell with 4-51 in second inning to complete his 10th wickets haul in match.
Robin Peterson who has shown brilliant batting in the first inning smash a career best 84 runs to helped the host manage to 326 in first inning and also picked up five wickets in  match, was named man of the match in 2nd test.

The third and final test match of the series between Pakistan and South Africa will be played at Centurion from February 22-26.
